Emerging from the forests of Belgrave come vibrant brass-clad acoustic duo The Bean Project. Featuring guitar and French horn, The Bean Project encompass the territory of folk, jazz and singer-songwriter genres, showcasing a distinctly unique style of original material. The duo's influences stretch from The Cat Empire to Johnny Cash and their sound has been most aptly described as 'the odd marriage of Cake, City and Color and Kings Of Convenience.'

Having returned home from a three month long East coast tour in May of 2016, The Bean Project found themselves searching for something new to sink their teeth into. Joining forces with an extended lineup, The Bean Project headed to St. Kilda and recorded a live three track EP. 'The Bean Project Live at Hothouse' is set to be released in September.
