The Wesley Anne are proud to host the launch of Davies West’s debut single, Twine, on Saturday the 8th of October. An intimate a venue as any, it is the perfect setting for you to connect with the five-piece folk band and experience the album performed live in its entirety. Davies West are not your usual artist. On the surface they have an appreciable talent for writing simple folk pop hooks and toe-tapping bluegrass numbers, but have a close listen and you will find a distinctively collaborative song craft that is unlike anything you’ve heard before. Supported by energetic Melbourne folk-favourites, the Scrims, and talented singer-songwriter Mitch Power, the stage is set for an unforgettable night of tunes, jigs and maybe a wine or two.
