Following the success of his award-winning 2013 debut album Reverence & Resonance and last year’s run of shows with The Vagabond Brothers on the back of single release Road To The Grave, Geelong based troubadour Alister Turrill returns in 2016 with his brand new EP A Toast To Better Times. Recorded at The Old Paper Mills, Fyansford in July 2016, this release sees Turrill’s unique take on modern folk come to the forefront, with a collection of his most mature songs to date bared for all.

On November 11th, Alister Turrill will be releasing A Toast To Better Times at The Wesley Anne, Northcote. This Melbourne launch will also feature two amazing artists and dear friends opening the show, Bendigo based globetrotter Grim Fawkner and Geelong’s own Sean Patrick.

A night of honest, flawed, gravel throated folkin’ blues awaits.
