Millar Jukes is from “a wee town outside of Glasgow, Scotland” and
he moved to Melbourne three years ago with his Aussie girlfriend,
quickly finding a band and immersing himself in the local scene.
Millar is from a highly competitive musical family (his two brothers are
in a very popular band back in Scotland called Vigo Thieves) which
he says “has served as fuel for my musical ambitions.”
He has been playing stages dusty and polished and supporting bands
big and small along the way (including Stonefield) and describes his
music as “new vintage.”
Millar Jukes continues to gain momentum and is excited to announce
a solo acoustic residency at Wesley Anne (250 High Street,
Northcote VIC). Catch him every Saturday in January (except the
2nd) from 6-8pm in the front bar.
