Off the back of a nationwide Australian tour supporting Passenger, New Zealand singer-songwriter, Luke Thompson, has announced his first Australian headline tour since 2013. This year Thompson is making the permanent move across the Tasman to tour and live nomadically with his family.
While his most recent self-released EP 'Strum Strum' (2015) has been gracing Spotify playlists around the world, Thompson has been hibernating for the winter, working in a cafe and taking an eight month hiatus from touring. The unintentional results of this downtime can be heard in Thompson's soon to be released self recorded mini album, made entirely on an old broken electric guitar. you can listen to a preview of 'Boxes' and get tickets at www.lukethompsonmusic.com
You can catch him at these spots throughout the country in April May, and no doubt many more throughout Australia this year.
