Freya Josephine Hollick's songs are reminiscent of the best parts of the country and folk traditions; her voice has been described as haunting, powerful, and one that is of another time.  After an eventful 2016 which included the release of her new album The Unceremonious Junking of Me and a tour supporting Willie Watson (Old Crow Medicine Show, Dave Rawlings Machine), Freya will travel down from the Victorian Goldfields for a special night of song in the Wesley Anne band room.

Supporting Freya will be Eddie Nuardo & The High Street Ramblers playing their debut gig.  The High Street Ramblers are a quartet of familiar faces from the local country music scene channelling the mighty Bakersfield sound.  The band's style of alt-country draws deeply from the folk, blues and country music traditions, with a few nods to surf and good old fashioned rock 'n' roll.
