Borrowing inspiration from artists such as the Tallest Man on Earth, Nick Drake and Leonard Cohen, Nathan Power uses his love of folk music to communicate stories loosely based on life experiences. Armed with a parlour guitar and backed by a ragtag collection of instruments including double bass, drums, and the occasional three-part vocal harmony, this is music for contemplation.
