Blue Rose is a project inspired by early jazz, playing early ballads, downtempo blues and the occasional more bouncy number. Repertoire is sourced from all over, but the principle remains the same - simple, beautiful and stripped back traditional jazz. The group is led by Oscar Neyland on bass, vocals and arrangements, with Cheryl Durongpisitkul on clarinet, alto saxophone and vocals, Ellie Lamb on trombone and vocals, and Caleb Garfinkel on guitar and vocals.
