Melbourne-based surf pop-rockers, Water Bear’s brand new EP Purple Jake has officially landed. A celebration of Australia’s leisure-filled lifestyle, the 5-track record tells the tale of an interstellar creature crashing smack-bang into the sand dunes of a typical Aussie beach town. The five-piece collective are set to share their ‘60s inspired surf tunes for the first time in full at the one and only, Wesley Anne.

Water Bear will be joined by the jangly indie-pop production of Eddy Dillon and the punch of punk from soloist Scout, A.K.A Mitch Cassin. Bred from the most noted band rooms of Melbourne, the three local acts are sure to serve up one hell of a Saturday night out.
