The singers and musical director of Merri Voices have been making interesting harmonies together since 2004. They assemble fortnightly over red wine and around old pianos in Clifton Hill and Westgarth and rarely appear in public. One of the many pleasures of listening to this small, reclusive group is that it sings many songs that no one has ever heard of or everyone has forgotten. At the Wesley Anne on 1st December they will be singing a selection of French, German and English songs from the 16th to the 20th centuries, about love.
