Galata Express is a project that brings musicians from Turkey, Macedonia, Australia and New Zealand. Galata Express experiments on Turkish romani/gypsy, folk, psychedelic, late Ottoman and gypsy music from all over the world. The band was formed in mid 2015 and is based in Melbourne.
