Cate Taylor is an alt-folk/country singer songwriter from Melbourne. Her songs are delivered in a rich, vocal performance of poetic story telling, reflecting social, personal and environmental themes.
Taylor will launch her debut album, Red Dirt on March 1st at the Wesley Anne. Performing with her on the day will be an incredible line up of musicians, (including Jason Bunn on fiddle and Nicola Bell on drums) bringing together a strong and moving collection of songs.
Taylor’s music is described as rich, natural and grounded in heartfelt, spacious lyrics and a performance style that is authentic and engaging. Taylor is currently performing in various inner Melbourne and interstate venues, as well as co-writing new material with guitarist, Greg Hamilton.
