Chris Cavill - the songs of Lionheart

With 15 years in the music biz, including the release of 2 albums and 4 EP’s, Chris Cavill’s got a story or two to tell. Acquainted with a love for family and adventure, he’s also spent considerable time over the past 10 years mentoring young Australians, guiding them on a path of their own.

Then came 2020. A period that arrested creativity in the spotlight, but sparked much creative life for Cavill behind the scenes. It was a genuine opportunity for him to slow down, to connect fully with his craft and put pen, emotion and stories to paper.

The result is a 3rd studio album titled ‘Lionheart’, a tribute to Cavill’s father who passed away in 2017 after a lengthy battle with Multiple Sclerosis. ‘Lionheart’ tells the story of a remarkable man and his extraordinary life. The album is a bold display of love and admiration, tempered with the cold realities of bereavement and grief. 

Join Chris as he brings ‘the songs of Lionheart’ to the stage for the very first time on his National tour, and hear the stories behind these most intimate and personal songs. With special guest, Jane McArthur, to open up proceedings.
