Ella Zagroon and her band dive into the world of Joni Mitchell, playing through her iconic album, Blue. Ella sings Joni: Blue promises a musical and lyrical exploration of the album, providing a contemporary jazz reimagination of Joni’s music, while staying true to the heart of these timeless classics.
Ella is a Melbourne based jazz singer and composer, graduated from the Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music. Pulling from influences such as Joni Mitchell, Nancy Wilson and Erykah Badu, Ella’s soulful vocals combine the worlds of jazz, folk and pop music.

Ceridwen is a cellist and composer currently completing her honours degree in Music Performance at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. Ceridwen’s creative passions lie in writing and performing music for solo cello and looping pedals. She draws on both her classical training as well as improvisation to create layers of textural and melodic cello.
