Cow bell, shakers, güiro and congas star alongside Wild West guitars, smokey vocals and dry humour in Melbourne’s Louis Valentine & The Golden Age. Drawing heavily on Motown sounds, Spaghetti West movies and Brit Pop bands from the turn of the century, Louis Valentine & The Golden Age have crafted their own brand of music that speaks for itself in any setting. The 7 piece are set to make their return to The Wesley Ann this May with a polished live show and a fresh set of songs from their unreleased debut LP. Local legends Eastbound Buzz will be opening the night from 8pm, with a set of their reliably rousing working class indie rock tunes.
