Originally formed at VCASS, Improv 2 have joined forces once again to bring you a night of sonic pleasure. Blending the idioms of modern jazz, hip hop and blues, they will present an eclectic mix of arranged compositions by the likes of Robert Glasper, Radiohead, Corrine Bailey Rae and Gretchen Parlato. 

As well as a solo support set from vocalist extraordinaire Ricky Gopinath, who will be presenting a selection of Indian Classical Raags. Having trained for many years in India under musical maestro Suresh Wadkar in Indian classical music, Ricky is recognised as a gifted musician known for blending ancient musical foundations with jazz & contemporary music.
