Seven years ago, in the heart of Thornbury, a musical spark ignited when four friends gathered in a small studio. United by their love for jazz and the magic of close harmonies, Vox Chops was born. Little did they know that this humble beginning would transform into a harmonious odyssey.
The early days saw Vox Chops experimenting with melodies and discovering their unique sound. As the years passed, they grew, both in numbers and in artistic prowess. New members joined, each bringing their own flavor to the choir's evolving repertoire, but the core quartet remained steadfast.
Through every incarnation and the passage of time, Vox Chops has remained a testament to the power of music and friendship. They are a shining example of the unbreakable bond that forms when voices unite in harmony, and they continue to be well-received wherever their melodious journey takes them.
On October 22nd at The Wesley Anne, Vox Chops will perform a set of some of their favourite numbers including barbershop, doo wop & jazz classics. With accompaniment on the baby grand by Adrian Perger this show will feature
vocal quartets and talented soloists in addition to the full choir.
