Backed by a 15-year legacy of filling venues around the city and becoming festival favourites around the state, Big Band Frequency returns to the Wesley Anne bandroom to cement their place as one of Melbourne’s premier big bands!

This 19-piece ensemble works hard and plays hard, featuring a powerful horn section, rockin’ rhythm, and the sensational and soulful vocals of Julia Sandel, one of the most exciting and engaging singers this side of the equator. Led and honed by the renowned Jordan Murray, BBF is bringing you some of the hottest and tightest big band hits from the 50s through to the modern day, with swing, funk, and Latin classics from Ella, Basie, and Aretha up to Stevie, Maynard, Elton, and Snarky Puppy to name but a few. Our grooves will make you move, and once we start, your feet won’t stop!
