Canadian born, Australian based singer-songwriter and poet Laura Lucas fell in love with storytelling from a young age. Her introspective songwriting is delivered by delicate vocals and dreamy instrumentation rooted in a warm, modern take on the indie-folk genre, earning her comparisons to Lana Del Rey and Phoebe Bridgers.

Izzy’s love for music and words can be heard in her carefully curated lyrics, which follow soaring soulful melodies. The authenticity of Izzy’s music and her between-song commentary is what makes her music relatable especially when accompanied by her tongue-in-cheek lyrics.
