Keegan Joyce plays live at The Wesley Anne on December 5 in anticipation of his first record release in 8 years “Placeholder for a Conversation”. A musician and actor, Keegan is recognised for his award-winning television performances in Please Like Me and Rake. With a small band, this intimate show will feature his latest songs as well as some from his debut album "Snow on Higher Ground".
This one-night only performance will give you a moment to reflect on the year that's passed and put to bed the things that haunt us, hopefully for good.
"A demure and angelic voice", Keegan weaves a story of doubt, love/hate, and self-fulfillment in an attempt to understand why sleep evades him, and if there's anyone else to blame for everything that's wrong. A performance that attempts to capture the spirit of a problem shared is a problem halved, and what better way than through music.
