An intimate evening of contemporary folk songs and storytelling with AFMA nominee Isabel Rumble (VIC) and acclaimed singer-songwriter Anousha Victoire (NSW).
Following on from a run of sold out album launch shows across Australia, Isabel returns to Naarm / Melbourne to share a special set of new songs written on the road alongside audience favourites.
A new voice in Australian music, Isabel Rumble is captivating listeners around the country. Her songs offer a cocoon of reflection on the subtleties of love, longing and hope. Nominated for Folk Alliance Australia’s Contemporary Folk Album of the Year 2023, Isabel’s debut album Bird Be Brave defines a soul-stirring emerging artist.
Anousha Victoire is a weaver of everyday dreams, stitching together folk/world influenced melodies with bell-over-water clarity of vocal tone.
2023 saw the launch of a brand new studio EP ‘Embers of the Night’ produced by Gareth Hudson.
Her long-awaited return to Melbourne will see this introspective singer-songwriter once again grace the stage with her blend of delicate ideas and heart-aching immediacy.
