Wearing her heart on her sleeve in every performance, Mia Barham is an emerging, saxophonist, flautist and composer from Melbourne. An integral part of the Melbourne Jazz Scene, Mia has performed with renowned jazz artists from around the globe including Nduduzo Makhatani, Ingrid Jenson and Andrea Keller. She has two releases to her name, both of which have been featured on ABC Jazz, PBS and have been performed at prestigious Melbourne venues The Jazzlab and Tempo Rubato. She has an infectious passion for music and as said by ARIA Nominated Alto Saxophonist Angela Davis “Mia is an extremely talented musician who at a very young age has already developed an extremely individual sound and concept”.
