Purple Matter is a recently formed improv collective influenced by groove based artists across many styles such as Herbie Hancock, MF DOOM, Parliament and Jaco Pastorius.

With an ever changing lineup of musicians, this group reinvents their own music and creates new funky tunes at each gig.
