The Early Birds hatched from bird head quarters (Neal's garage) sometime in mid-2022. Their musical journey took flight when the melodically gifted, tenor saxophonist; Mihoko, fresh from gliding across the Pacific, received an unexpected email from Neal, the hard swinging yet long lost drummer. The email contained an irresistible proposition: a jam session. So, she decided to dust off the sax and rallied up a flock of talented musicians. After receiving the call, the migratory pianist Ben swooped in, however they were missing a key ingredient. [Enter Anthony] Like a majestic Albatross gracing the skies, double bass player Anthony arrived at Neal's garage, and after a single resonant note from his bow, The Early Birds truly took flight.
