Henry Cameron is a Jazz guitarist and composer based in Melbourne. He studied Jazz and Improvisation at the Victorian College of the Arts and graduated with honours in 2022. He has received personal tutelage from some of Australia's leading improvisers such as James Muller, Stephen Magnusson, James Sherlock, Hugh Stuckey, Ashley Cross, and Geoff Hughes, as well as international artist Lage Lund. He currently performs in various improvised music projects around the northern suburbs of Melbourne as well as teaching improvisation at Richmond Music Academy and the Michael Avery School of Music. In February 2023 Henry held a residency at the Brunswick Green performing with former mentors Ashley Cross, James Sherlock and Hugh Stuckey in a series of intimate duo performances.
