Ruby Glynn is a 20-year old jazz vocalist from Melbourne, who combines influences from Amy Winehouse, Cecile Mclorin Salvant and Joni Mitchell to a voice that is unique, dynamic and intuitively musical. A finalist in this year's Generations in Jazz Vocal Scholarship, Ruby and her band will bring you improvisation, collaboration and joyful music making. Expect standards, non-standards and more with intentionality and exploration.
Ruby is joined by the wonderful Monty Price (guitar), Jack Smythe (double bass) and Marissa di Marzio (drums) for this performance.
