From the rugged hills of New Zealand and the shores of Naarm/Melb comes the addictive indie-folk duo, Ironess.
Pulling inspiration from loved artists including Fleetwood Mac and Wild Rivers, their songs are full of honest lyrics capturing stories of love, dreams and questioning ones place in the world, infused with folky guitar riffs and infatuating vocal hooks.
Last year Ironess traveled to the US performing shows across the south, including at the renowned Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. Since their return, they have been a featured act at Sofar Sounds, and have started performing with their 4 piece band around Melbourne.
Like any great duo, the alluring complimentary vocals of Ironess are captivating new listeners at every turn.
